Will be rated the award programs that present a pleasant design, a content of quality, an easy and logical navigation and that meet these criteria:

  • The award program must present, at least, the following information in separate pages: purpose or introduction, criteria, award graphics, application form and winners list.
  • The site and award program must respect copyrights, must present a copyright or credits page and a privacy page.

  • If the award program or site won awards, must have a received awards page, where the awards are displayed in their original sizes and forms.

  • Sites in all the western languages are welcome, but sites in Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French and English, or sites that possess versions translated into these languages will be reviewed with more easiness.

  • Only the webmaster or the responsible for the AP can apply for the rating, he needs to be older than 16 years old, in order to comply with the COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and other rules and laws.

  • When requesting a rating the applicant declares that know this criteria and agrees with our judgment, not fitting any claims.


DISQUALIFICATION:

          Will be disqualified the award programs that do not fulfill the criteria above or that presents:

  • Some kind of pornography, discrimination, prejudice, polemical topics or incitement to violence or crime, even if the object in question is part of a poem, message in the guest book, or links for sites with such contents.

  • Any kind of disrespect or immorality, encourage any type of addiction or show any topic or material that can be considered illegal.

  • More than one broken link, unloaded images or under construction signs.

  • 404 errors code or blank pages and if in two visits I can't access the award program.


REAPPLICATION OR UPGRADE REQUEST:

          The awards programs should respect a minimum break of ninety days between an application and a reapplication and of six months between an application and an upgrade request. In case of the awards program has been substantially reformed the minimum break will be of ninety days, but this information must be given in the upgrade request and the AWARD Team can consider that the reform was not substantial.



EXCLUSION:

Will be excluded from our association the awards programs that no more meet our criteria and those that no longer exist or change their addresses without telling us.
